I caught this Mallard this morning. Mallards fly and flap a lot faster than geese and hawks. I can't keep up with them when they fly across the camera, but when they fly right at you......

"We will be having duck for dinner."
"Duck to eat?"
"No, as a guest."
What a shot Garrett.

The duck: "Oh, shit, I better turn away, this fellow looks ominous. So, braking now !!!!!!!!!!!" LOL
This is hw it loos - the duck braking in front of you not to hurt you perhaps - with this weight the damage might be substantial.... LOL

This is the first view of a mallard I have ever seen like this. Well done, the color and clarity are great.

Oh, that's goot! What a wing spread. He looks like he is throwing on the brakes at the sight of your camera.

Wow stunning capture of a mallard and the colours, detail and focus is a 100%. Love how you captured the sunlight on the bird as well.

I can never get good focus like this when they are flying towards me. You did a good job on this one.
