Dik Diks are the smallest member of the antelope family. About the size of a house cat on stilts, they live very secretive lives. I have always seen them near shrubbs that they can dive into if alarmed.

I like your description as to the size of this little critter, Garrett. I bet they fight with the Hedgehogs for cover.
Great detail. I personally like a little more contrast, but that's just me.

What a beautiful creature this is and you capture it superbly the colours in it coat are beautiful and I love the light in its eye plus spot on composition too, It is amazing how pointed the face from nose right back to the ears and am I right the black circle below the eye is a scent gland Bruce.

Fantastic close up and such detail, really like the way you've captured the eye even with a reflection in this very small fellow. Such lovely colours and clarity, you are giving us outstanding captures of the animals, keep them coming
