Okalani in blue with the ball, played with my older son three years ago at Crespi. Now he plays for Chaminade the defending state champions. Trust me, he is a load! For you camera buffs, I was using my Nikon D810 with an ISO setting of 12800. The lens was a Nikon 100-400 zoom. Apeture setting f5.6, shutter speed somewhere between 1/400 and 1/600. -.7 stops compensation, (anything to speed the camera up).

I have been using the Sports Mode on my Nikon D7000, Garrett.
I use the Nikkor 70-300mm (4.5-5.6) lens the first half and the Nikkor 80-200 (2.8) lens the second half. I can only go to 6400 ISO. I have tried Aperture and Manual Modes.
The lighting on our football field is not very good. Some of the other stadiums have better lighting. The shots I get in the middle of the field are much better then the poorly lit end zones.
Thanks for sharing your info.
