The Yellowthroats that were so common and visible a couple weeks ago have gone back to their secretive lives until next spring. They are still here but now hide in the Cattails and Rushes they call home.

Beautiful markings on this yellowthroat. They are very pretty and you captured it well. It looks as though it is hiding from something Garrett.

Looks like he's ready to take flight, really like the look in his sweet face, they sure are a beautiful and elegant bird with such colours and markings. I've never seen any around here. Another outstanding shot Garrett
