I saw my first White Crowned Sparrow last weekend. It is hard to believe that fall is actually here.

It doesn't look too happy that fall is here, Garrett.
The bird appears to be in a pensive mood.
The detail is really good.

Great shot! I think I've seen those here. Almost all our birds are migratory, so we only see them for a short while. Saved and faved.

Stunning looking photography with amazing light and great composition of this lovely looking scene and bird and a bird which is a first fir me .When I first set eyes on this bird I thought it was a member of the bunting family and what a strange but lovely looking bird this is with the small head and lager body ,thanks for sharing.

Oh my goodness, we still have some up here and haven't gone from here. They are so pretty and my kitty (she's a indoor kitty), loves watching them throwing the leaves around looking for bugs sitting at our huge living room window which faces the bush/woods. I call it live entertainment for her. I've never been able to capture one with such detail and colour. Brilliant post, love it Garrett and right into my favs. We still have the whited throated sparrow around here yet
