With Halloween in mind. Here is a vulture I shot this weekend. Early in the morning they love to soak up the rays of the sun.

Vultures are one scary looking bird to me! I don't think I would ever want one at my bird feeder.

You really got a clear shot of this amazing bird. They look rather ugly and menacing but they are fascinating birds to watch. This was a good find Garret and good job.

Great capture Garrett. These birds, while not pretty, are interesting. I usually see them flying so this guy looks very large perched on this branch.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.
Sorry I love them and they look cute when the hop along the ground ,put me of a bit when they are feeding with there bare heads lol but apart from that I love them .And this is a stunning looking capture and looks like it really in joying the sun rays and the detail plus colour are superb Garrett plus nice presentation too.".....is this what they call a turkey vulture by the way....."
