This past weekend we drove 350 miles to see the Sand Hill Cranes that migrate to the Valley. Among other things there were also a ton of ducks. Cranes to follow tomarrow.

The ducks look like they are having quite a party! This image is wonderfully composed in different layers of color and texture. Nice one.

Those are some different looking ducks then what we have around here Garrett.
I like the layered look. Bring on the cranes, the ducks are magnificent.

Great shot of the ducks and pond Garrett. This would look good hanging on the wall of a bank.

You can see in this photo why it is hard for a bird of pray to catch one as it hard to pick a individual out if all them birds.Very nice capture and you froze them very nicely and I bet it was a bit of a Challenge to get this shot just right as well.Plus very good presentation and nice colours too. Also i like the foliage in the back drop of this photo as well Garrett.

It's really amazing how so many can take off at the same time and they never seem hit each other. Excellent action shot, really love the way the wings are in different positions, plus such outstanding detail
