At first glance it looks like the Osprey on the right is attempting to steal the fish from the Osprey on the left. In reality moments earlier the bird on the right was peacefully sitting on the same perch minding its own business. Out of the blue the second Osprey shows up with a fish and chases the bird on the right off. The bird on the right circled back to see if it could get its perch back, but the bird with the fish left its perch and chased the original bird off. Weird??? I would have thought that the bird with the fish would avoid confrontation so as to eat the fish in peace, but no!!! It then moved to another perch, where it did eat in peace as the original bird did not come back.

It should have just shared the fish and avoided any bad feeling between them in the future!....Nice catch, Garrett.

I was thinking the fish was a perch and got totally discombobulated Garrett. A second reading sorted it out.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
Nice action photo Garrett with stunning detail and when enlarge it sure brings the detail out even more .The colours are superb along with the light you captured in this stunner of a capture and the detail is that good you can see the eagle powerful claw holding on to it fish.Yes one outstanding photo and I love the story too.
