My White Pelicans have finally arrived, (after a couple of false starts). They will be here now through March. There were approximately 24 here last weekend. These large birds have a grace of their own with their long wiry necks and large awkward bills. Much of my enjoyment with these "Air Buses" centers around trying to capture unique poses and patterns created by their necks and bills, especially when they swim in fishing groups.

Again the light in this photography is exquisite and the slight white reflection in the water from the pelicans adds a love look to this shot .Plus as alway stunning detail and one hundred percent presentation of these lovely looking birds too.

I never see pelicans...not even in the zoos around here. This shot is so sharp and gorgeous.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
The lighting is wonderful. I can't tell how many birds are there...3 or 4? The reflections are lovely and the image is well-composed.
I always look forward to your bird shots, and hope to see more pelicans in the near future!

Excellent on the exposure setting, for this super clear capture. I have seen pelicans down in Florida, but not around here, and I don't remember them being so white. I'm with everyone else-I look forward to your bird images. tigs=^..^=
