I took this picture yesterday afternoon. These geese were down near the river. I pulled my van up close to them and took the shot from front seat of van with window rolled down... not that I am lazy, but did not want to get camera wet. I thought it was nice how goslings got under mother's wing to get out of rain. Personally, I like this picture and wanted to share it...

Awsome capture. I just love family pictures! Very clear picture. Is there little drops of water on the mom's back? Really like this.. high marks indeed!

Oh now lookie heah, this hits a 8.9 on the "Precious" scale. how darling. I'm surpirsed she didn't take off what with you driving up so close, but, you made it. Oh my, did you spot the expression on the one on the far left that can't seem to find room under mother's wing? His little face says it all. Thks so much for sharing.

Superbly exposed image! What a precious family. Mom has beautiful coloring on her head. I think I see a pair of eyes peeking out from under her wing :) I would give this a HUGE 20/10 in the voting booth!

Well it's only befitting that a Canadian would get such a lovely photo of it's own national goose or I should say geese (not quite, still chickies yet). This is a lovely photo. It put a big warm smile on my face. I am also a Canadian but from Manitoba. I was up in the northern interlake region two weeks ago and there were thousands of geese. As we drove down through the marshlands every ten feet were a mama papa and around ten babies. It was an amazing sight. You have captured a great moment here. This is a good photo as well as being great subject matter. Thanx for sharing with us!! Cheers...............................Amaris
