This is a very professional image Gerald. It goes on my laptop this week and if it comes up in my Voting Booth it will certainly garner a high score.

The only thing I might suggest that you do to make a stronger image is to edit out the bright spots on the left side of the image. They are distracting and add no value to the image.
Other than that, Perfection.

What a beautiful Iris Gerry! I have never seen one this colour before. I only have yellow ones in my garden. It makes a lovely photograph - it looks quite regal! Patti

Lawd have mercy. That has to be the sharpest, clearest most well defined flower capture ev er. The clarity in this composition is enough to make one bat their eyeballs. TThe structure of the flower reminds me of the military / Presidential "Ruffles and Flourishes". As a matter of fact, this flower is so beautiful, Ruffles and Flourishes should play every time it is downloaded. Gooooooooooooooooooooooooood work. Pat

I think the colours of this IRis are different than any I've ever seen. It is just gorgeous. And the fact you took the pic and posted it, makes it even more special. Great find and excellent capture. The colors are striking, focus is perfect, and that flower was meant to be photographed. It's standing so full and matronly yet, is all soft and delicate with its white paper-thin standards, multi-colored falls, and fiery red beards. Gorgeous :)
