This was taken a couple of weeks ago at Nature Preserve outside of city. By what it says in my bird book this is a Northern Oriole..

Oriole's are such beautiful birds. I like the capture of not only the bird but of the way the branches are rendered as well. The background could have stood to be a little more blurred out. It's trying to compete with the bird and branches. I can't believe that beautiful yellow vest that bird is wearing. Great capture, Jerry.

wow! what a beautiful bird. I love the way the bird and branch are so sharp and the background faded. Patti

Beautiful Bird ... Beautiful capture. Not easy catching an Oriole for a pic. As a rule they tend to stay in the treetops. Unless one has an Oriole feeder, it's rather rare to see them at lower levels. Really nice work.

I'm supposed to have these in my area but I've NEVER seen one! I even bought the feeder but how are they supposed to know it's there from the treetops? Guess I'll have to settle for those lucky enough to catch them on film. Beautiful bird. Lovely color in the background as well
