Beautifully lit shot, and one of the best fall macros I've ever seen! Well done, Gerry!

It's just amazing the different colors the oaks are changing to this fall. Believe it or not, I've actually seen some reddish ones. They usually turn some sort of dull brown and then hang on forever. This is a very richly colored take and the clarity you've shown us in this macro seems to have distilled the very essence of the depth and opulence with which fall's colors are ofttimes imbued. It's definitely in my faves...nicely done :)PJ

Gerry, you outdid yourself on this one. I love backlighting, fall leaves and this is a perfect blend of the two. Absolutely stunning. It's a keeper and just plumb purty.

Saw the first Autumn Color ... Saw this in the VB ... didn't recognize the connection. Came here and the light bulb went on in my head. This is the guy that makes the simple ... sublime. Another wonderful image Gerry.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.
