I titled this image Another Late Bloomer because I had posted a wildflower earlier titled Late Bloomer. I came across this flower while walking through bush at Nature Preserve last week. It really stood out from dying foliage around it was begging me to take it's picture..

Beautifully captured with perfect clarity. The vibrance of the pink against the browns is delightful.

I love to see these little flowers that are so tough but look so fragile. Beautiful color and clarity really makes it stand out amongst the grass. Well done Gerry!

We have wheedance's purples, my reds and your pinks. Who said fall was dull and colorless? Nice crisp shot, Gerry.

Excellent post. Right on the $ !! It's so clear and such a contrast to the fall deep browns. Looks like you must have had some rain or precipitation of some sort with all the moisture that the wood has pulled in and of course the support it's giving that beautiful little flower. Nice work :)PJ
