Looks like a sunshade, so is it a Parasol? Great shot with wonderful light.

I would be happy, seeing you in my galerie, since I do not get so many visitors, even a couple of very nice ones . Today I've posted Vivaldi

You find some really nice things on that nature preserve. You know I have a wildlife sanctuary right in my backyard and I don't spend much time there. I know the first acre or so, but I don't want to get lost back there. Maybe one day I'll enter through the front entrace on another road. I like what you have been capturing in your shots, so that will motivate me to get over there and see what I can find. Great shot, Gerry.

Perfect clarity on this little guy pushing his way up through the death on the ground...but I guess that why they exist, because of the decay that goes on underneath them. Nice post and thanks :)PJ

very pretty macro of this tiny mushroom and looks like you had to lie down to take this one Gerry or did you cheat like I do and put it on a low tripod on the group and let the camera focus so I don't have to lie down - no wonder my mushroom photos never turn out! lol! Patti

Brilliant focus on the shroom and I love the brown tones and crispy texture of the surrounding leaves. Lovely image Gerry.
