This is same deer as was posted in White Tailed Deer 1. As I said in first post, he stopped and looked at me for about a minute, then went on his way.

You definitely got him in your sights this time Gerry. I like this and your other picture very much, it is great to get a peek at something most of us dont see that often in the wild.

Now now Gerry.. I assume you threw the focus off of the deer on purpose. But.. I like the picture alot... it has a "vision" through an animals eye appearance.

This is the better of the two-just because saturation is btter.anyway, I like seeing the deer in the wildsomething I rarely see except when driving and that does not give me much time to look..THANKS FOR TAKING THESE.......ALAIN

What an exciting moment for you in this post and also in the last, which I thought was very creatively presented, even if you didn't plan it that way. Of course here we see the animal in a clearer fashion. Because hunting season is just over and there is a little bit of snow on the ground here, the deer have been making their annual run behind my house in the woods on the other side of the rockwall...it's a sort of safe zone for them and it's used often. I suppose I should go out there and try to take pics of my deer as they are skitterish, as are all wild creatures, but they're used to being around "civilization". I guess I just didn't think to try to set up to take them. Very nice shot, Gerry :)PJ

Ah, there's snow on the ground. He must have sensed that you were no threat to him. Animals are very keen about people and can you blame them? LOL A very lovely shot, Jerry. The other one is my favorite.
