Again shot at Nature Preserve a couple of weeks back. They certainly stood out in late January. Used Nikon D50 with Tamron 70-300 lens set at 300mm. Shutter at 1/1250 aperture at f/5.6 and ISO 800.

Fantastic close up, Gerry! I love RED berries. You're right they would stand out quite prominently now with snow on the ground.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

This sure is a heck of a lot better than any of the berry pics I've tried to take. Congrats. Nice color contrast w/the bg and placement of the berries at the right third. I really like that the bg is nice and uniformly blurred giving all attention to the berries. The dof is slightly too shallow though. Focus is on the second berry on the right with the front and back berries on the edge of the focus plane. You're also getting some blurring in the stem as well. Dof issue is completely overshadowed by the positive points in your composition though. Nicely done, Gerry.

Minimalist photography = perfection. The colour combination works well, primaries against each other. Slightly soft focus worked out ok too as you then look at the composition as a whole. If it was all pin sharp I think the eye might have been led off in all directions at once. Small is beautiful:))
Cheers,
Steve.
