This is a capture of the two baby Owls in nest. They are about four weeks old when this picture was taken..they are about five weeks old now and getting bigger and changing color. On a day that I was not there a friend of mine told me he witnessed three Crows attack the nest and the Mother and Father Owl showed up right quickly to chase them away...wish I would have seen that. Taken with Nikon D50 fitted with Tamron 70-300 lens set at 260mm. Shutter at 1/200 aperture at F/8 and ISO 800...image has been cropped and edited..

Wonderful! They're looking right at you and they resemble Ewoks from Star Wars. I didn't have any idea they look like this as babies. Great post again, Gerry. Thank you!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
