This is picture of young Great Horned Owl..same bird as earlier posting...used Nikon D50 with Tamron Lens set at 260. Shutter at 1-80 aperture at F/11 and ISO at 200. settings on first posting are same except shutter at 1/50 and aperture at F/8

Such a great sight, my friend...everything about this is so perfect. I can see the baby eyes starting to develop "THE GLARE" ::LOL::

Shutter speed and aperture have improved this image..crisper and better contrast too; I like the background here more too...........again, marvelous-merci for sharing/educating us.

ohhhhh hes wonderful gerry! he is still a bit wrapped up in fluff round his face, but what an amazing shot! i have said it before, and i will say it again, you are so lucky to be able to see this wildlife close at hand! uk is not very exciting on the wildlife front! lol

After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.
