You're correct. It is very colorful. We call those "Elephant Ears" around here. I've always heard about this mushroom type, "if it grows on trees, don't eat it." Might be and old wives tale. Who knows. Very nice framing. Good post.

Wow, those can't be missed! They are so colorful and unusual looking. Great framing too, Gerry.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Hi Gerry...

This photo is absolutely the epitome of color...of clarity and of specific interest to me...because I just love to photograph 'fungi'...as they represent to me..as in this case extraordinary colors...often...

They are...as I have said in the past... not dissimilar to photographying flowers....as they do have much in common....such as shapes...sizes...certainly colors...and textures often displayed....which are of great interest....;o) Very beautiful Gerry..

You did a very nice job my friend...and I salute you!!

This is a good time to thank you for all the supportive help you have been to me and the time given to my work....I am deeply grateful for your sweet comments...and look forward to you next visit...with a great deal of pleasure....

I miss that little cap and those sunglasses...when they are not seen on my page...;o)...please except my apology for my infrequent visits to your galleries...as I promise...we will meet again...and this time at your place!!! ;o)

Enjoy your day Gerry....
