I keep going out to the Nature Preserve to take pictures of changing colors but find myself going back to pond to take photos of these Mallards :)) All these shots of these ducks have been taken in mid-morning with sun rising to left of frame...also I am using a polarizing filter on lens which cuts glare on water...

Gerry, think that the (circular) polarisation filter gave your image that wonderful touch. The contrast is anyhow wonderful. Good job. Regards, Cornelius

Really nice photograph. Very well framed and thoughtout A+ for this one. You keep on photoing these beautiful creatures. I reall have enjoyed them. It is nice to see them in the wild instead of on someones wall. Thanks for sharing and stuff.

Another nice one Gerry. I finally saw them yesterday, late afternoon. That park was crazy, there was no parking when I got there.

Hi Gerry
I think we saw the lady previously in a reflective mood, however in this shot of the pair of them they both look rather tired !!

Gerry..Your Mallard pictures are great. Perfect framing, too. I may have said this before, but they would be great hanging on the wall of my den...that is, if I had a den.

Gerry, I'm with John. I think you might have interrupted something. They do have the "duckish" grin on their face. I think you need to add disclaimer: "No ducks were injured in any of the shots." Animal activists and all that you know.
Great post again of the Mallards.
