This pair of Mallards appear contented and enjoying the morning sun as I was. I have a lot of stuff in background in this shot but I think it shows the habitat and environment in which these ducks live...
Great sheen on the ducks and on the water - this is such a vibrant shot and I agree the busy background is just right, showing their natural habitat.
They look very well fed and quite large birds.
Trust me Gerry the background is fine
Notice how they've both pulled their necks back, and her ladyship has dropped her head ? Body language says so much !!
Anymore more ducks to come ? ain't they great. :d
Life's around said Phil the 35 millimetre cameraman. I recently went to the doctors, and said I've got icon fever, but he told me there was no cure for the disease. Flossies gallery's here
"Look, he's back again. I'll meet you in the rushes a tad later." In Mallard language quack, quack quack, queek, queek, quack. Very nice, I was beginning to wonder if they had learned to walk. You have really captured them nicely. Like I said before, you need to send some of these to Ducks Unlimited. They would totally enjoy them.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
