Great background and clarity is fantastic per usual Gerry. It looks like it's drooping its head aware of the impending doom of winter. Good photo.

This reed looks so wonderful against the dark green. I like the way you isolated your subject and the clarity is super.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

That deep emerald of a backdrop does a lot for this simple, yet elegant image. I've got to have this one!!

Simple subject + Excellent focus + Perfect background for contrast = ... "Work of Art" and a beautiful post. You've got a great imaginative eye Gerry.

An elegant shot of this tassel. Simple yet with a quiet beauty. Marvelous lighting and texture. The blurred green in the background helps add alittle zing of color, as does the beautiful framing. Excellent work Gerry!
