As I was walking through the meadow yesterday morning looking at the dying plants to take these macros I have been uploading lately...they have such beauty and subtle color right now I found this Bee on this plant. It surprised me being that it is November and temperature was only a couple of degrees above freezing that morning...mind you he was not that active and was able to get some good shots of him..

Think that bee was confused by the low temperatures and might have thought that this plant still was blooming. Very nice macro. Regards, Cornelius

Beautiful macro, Gerry. It surprises me too that there are still bees about.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I think his Goose Taxi south went off and left him. He figures he'll die with his boots on, so to speak. Great capture and patience. You're amazing Gerry.

Well, I'll bee. That sure is a great shot of the tough little stinger. It's a good thing he wasn't in the mood for attacking you, like I am sue he would have done to me. I have all the luck. Great shot, Gerry.

Lots of great detail, more so in the plant rather than the bee. Good'un.

Great macro Gerry, love the colours and details in the bee. I saw a few ladybugs today and wish I had my camera handy. Left it at home this morning.
