These wild grasses grow according to which way and how strong the wind is..they seem to stand proud...this is another image of what I think is the asthetic beauty and subtle colors of nature.

A beauty without a doubt and the background carries through with those same complimentary colors. I like both of these grass shots.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Great photo and the wind is very important for wildlife as well. They use it to be aware of impending danger, as well as impending pleasure. Very good post Gerry.

I have to comment ... your backgrounds (DOF) on these nature shots you have been doing are great! Do you do post work, or are they all a result of your camera settings? Whatever the case, they are excellent!

Both of these grasses are so wonderful, Gerry! I love the way you have framed them and I agree, the subtle colors are excellent.

Love the colours on the background, almost like a water painting. Nice detail in the grass. Very nice capture.

Your close-ups of plants in the last days of Autumn are great. I think they'd look great in a frame with grid layout.
