This was captured yesterday morning. I had perfect backlighting to make this seedhead translucent. Shows how this plant turns into a basket to hold the seeds...also I must mention that there was no wind yesterday morning which made perfect conditions to shoot these plants..

I can't believe how patient you are. You never did confirm the "stickler for detail" comment I made. lol You'd be having a rough time around here, the wind's been blowing for a week. That basket is just awesome. Your photo implants vision of this in one's mind. Better than words. Great pair of posts Gerry.

The background colors are so smooth and gorgeous and in grand contrast to the "basket" effect that the plant is giving its seeds. I've never seen them look like this before. I guess I must not have been looking as hard as you have been, Mr. P!

What I find so attractive about this image is the contrast between the soft pastel colors with those of flower gone to seed. Very nice detail too. Gerry, you sure know how to take something so simple & present it so beautifully. Excellent work.
