This walking path takes one through the area of the Nature Preserve that I have been in last two weeks and a lot of postings have come from this area. One thing that I have been seeing everyday here is a lot of Deer as it is mating season. I have been so busy taking macro shots that have not tried to get shots of Deer. Last couple of days have turned my attention to Deer as would love to get capture of a Buck. I took some pictures of a Buck yesterday morning but just after daybreak and lighting was very poor and so were shots...but I will get some pictures of them. Seen a Red Fox on this path this morning but was 100 yards away from me.

What an adventure you are having! Beautiful shot of this path and I'll look forward to seeing that deer.

Sounds like we're both deer hunting Gerry. I imagine you have more people pulling for you than I do. Great looking path. Love the colors of leaves on ground. Leaves on ground may be pretty, but they're noisy. It it was me, I'd get behind that tree and ......... Better quit. Very nice photo.

Nice one Gerry, I love how the carpet of leaves disappears and reappears as a lush green path, great contrast:)

I've really enjoyed your macro shots this year, Mr. P. As I recall you got some pretty fantastic shots of deer last year, but not a buck, as I remember!

Happy hunting.

it is wonderful that you get to see all the wildlife and even capture some photographs of them Gerry! With your perseverence I am sure you will manage that shot of the buck before long! An excellent photo - you can see for some distance and I see that the Autumn colours are still with you.

Gerry are you getting into this park on SpringGarden by the school. My asthma has calmed down and I would love to meet you one morning and check out this new park of yours. I am loving what you are doing there.

Lots of wonderful fall color and textures and a great perspective here, Gerry. How many of these beauties adorn your walls? They should.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Nice composition Gerry. The lighting is not good but even then the color is vibrant.

I like the way the path disappears, and then reappears. Very nice colors throughout the shot. Should have gotten a higher clown-index.

Wow! Such beautiful colours. Love how they are so vibrant in the foreground and muted in the background.
