I am posting two pictures of a Deer Buck that I took at daybreak on Thursday morning. The light was very low and had to up the ISO on camera to 800. They are not the best shots...know I can do better and I will. This one looks a fair size...I would say 300 to 400 lbs..

So that's what they look like? I thought I forgot with the luck I'm having. This would not be legal to shoot where I live. It must have 4 points on one side. He's really checking you out while you take photo. Very nice Gerry. You're better hunter than I am.

A fine looking buck & under the circumstances you mentioned I would say you did a fine job Gerry. I know one thing for sure you definitely caught his attention. I like both of your posts today ~ well done.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Are they really that heavy? No wonder they can leave a car in a mess! We saw one of these running down the highway straight towards us today, but lucky for both of us he veered off.

Well, that deer looks like he is looking for traffic before crossing the road. The deer around here aren't that smart. Nice picture, Gerry.
