This is a macro taken of high grass seed head. I opened the shutter up to f/5.6 to give selective focus and blur background which I think gave soft muted colors in background...
Gerry, thought at first sight (when I had watched only your thumbnail image) that it was a strange insect. But at full sight I 'discoverd' the beauty of this macro. Very good work! Regards, Cornelius

I also thought it was going to be a fly or wasp or something of that sort. The grass seed head looks like it is under a microscope, or...macroscope in this case. Very nice. I love the background again.
