Hi Gerald, Wonderful shot, if this plant is not called a shaving brush plant it should be. The framing you chose doesn't do the photo justice. Still like it very much though, Cheers Al.
The beer urges me on, the bewitching beer, which sets even a wise man to singing and to laughing gently and rouses him up to dance and brings forth words which were better unspoken.

Well, I must say that after reading the other comments, it DOES look like a shaving brush. The lighting on it is super, and really stands out with the dark background. I like it.

You know what I think it looks like? A shaving brush. Surprise!
It really does. All that's missing is the barber's pole. Anyone have a candy cane? Great work Gerry, I agree you just keep getting better and better.
Whew...just reading all the great comments is a joy all its own on your fine uploads. I think you've found your calling, Mr. P. These macros are just great.

Very very nice.... sorry for this repeated line from me, ive been busy and am way behind to write individual comments for everyone, apologies my friend :-)
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Nicely composed, rule of thirds, empty spaces, etc. Does anybody still use a shaving brush? The dark background really brings out the subject. Overall, a very good shot.
Well, it's become obvious how good you are at capturing these
gorgeous photos . Where do you go for these? Please tell me more about it. I would love to hear.I would like to have seen a different framing. A closer, smaller photo with a thin line to
emphasize the colour of the seedhead maybe. But either way, it is a most wonderful photo...Verena
