excellent capture Gerry! I have a resident pigeon - every morning he can be seen sat in the tree outside waiting for his breakfast which he gets every day! lol!

Pigeons are very clever. Think you've depicted that in a perfect way Gerry. Very well done! Regards, Cornelius

I see he didn't want to look directly into the camera. Nice shot, and I like the beveled frame.

He looks like a statue. I think there's some irony involved here. You had your chance. Great looking shot. Love the colors. Our barn was full of them when I was a kid. You captured the essence of the pigeon, Gerry.

The irridescence of its plumage has been captured beautifully. A fine pigeon portrait Gerry :)

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
