As we had a full moon a few days back I went down to the Detroit river two mornings in a row as moon was setting behind Detroit skyline...this picture was taken on a cloudless sky just before daybreak...I ran it through HDR

Very nice Gerry, You are one of the best here at Caedes, and I feel really lucky to be a member with you...You wouldn't happen to have a spare tripod laying around, lol. I wish my limited mobility would work when I take the snapshot! lol. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! Hot and cold running color. After trying to get a nice shot of the Detroit skyline in the 70's, I decided that battling the elements was a losing proposition. Was I ever wrong! Excellent usage of artificial and natural light. Love the way you defeated the haze and cloud problems without waiting for the river to freeze...and attractively framed, too.

Splendid shot, dear friend. I see that the city is all dressed up for Christmas already! This is a wonderful 'night' shot with lots of wonderful lights and details. This is top notch stuff, Gerry!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
