This picture was taken in October at same time as my posting Painted Turtle was shot. Just a little different perspective...in this one the reflection of red leaves in maple tree on land was reflected in pond behind turtle. It has been run through HDR.

Wonderful colors, Gerry! The reflections are super and the frame is very complimentary. Very nicely done all the way around.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I had this in voting and it captured my attention immediately. The details, the reflections, the textures, the composition - all make this a great shot. It's in my favorites.

Really hope it's waterproof 'paint' Gerry, lol.
Great shot again because of a very good 'C3' (composition, clarity and colours).

I had to go back and look at the first one. I thought it was good, but this one is even better, because of the reflection of the leaves. It almost look like a paint spill. Super work, Gerry.

Did you have to set camera in action mode? I know these are pretty quick. The hare is already gone. I like this better than original as well. Reflection adds to this. Turtle looks pretty proud of it's tatoo. Good photo Gerry.

I like the way you're utilizing the HDR process. What program are you using, if I may ask?
