This guy looks very proud standing on this dock...and very relaxed. I took these pictures of this Gull from front seat of my vehicle...was able to get very close without scaring the bird off.

Did anyone tell you that you're not supposed to drive your car out on the dock? Great photo Gerry. I'm liking this series you have started. Great framing and clarity.

Although taken in not easy conditions, it's another beautiful seagull image Gerry. Well done again.

Why did you tape his beak shut? Oh, that's not tape, huh? Gerry, this is a perfect shot. The detail is excellent. Very nice.

Two great gull shots Gerry. Great focus and composition in the original and this #2. Like the low angle taken close to to dock planks. Think the original would be my favored one ... loved the full stretched out profile in that one. Nice photography my friend.

Hello, my name is Jonathan Livingston and you are? Such a stately stance. You expect it to step from the screen, onto your desk top any minute. Bravo. Prima!

Couldn't get a better focused shot if you tried. Excellent work once again.

Great dof. I don't know what it is about gulls, but they always seem so complacent.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Evan though, seagulls are a very common sight, I love to watch their antics. Another great close up of a bird.
