Caught this guy peeking his head out this past Summer. He had taken over a nest box put on trunk of tree at Nature Preserve. These nest boxes, as there are two of them this size, were put up for Screech Owls. As Screech Owls nest early in Spring this box was vacated when this fellow showed up.

Great capture. You are a true professional. It doesn't really look like the squirrels around here. It sorta looks like a cross between a bat, a rat and a squirrel. Something about the ears, the claws and the coloring. This by means is no reflection on the great photo you have taken. It is 10+. Great post Gerry.
