This picture was also taken yersterday afternoon at Nature Preserve. This is a male Downy Woodpecker...quite common at Nature Preserve.

Woodpeckers are such intense listeners. It's almost like their lives depended on it. :-0

It looks like this one has his sonar turned way up. Very well rendered and presented.
