Another post of a Fox. This was taken just after 8AM Sunday morning in same area where I seen the Fox on Saturday. I walked along walking path to a crossroads of another walking path and stood at apex where I could see four ways and sure enough when I looked north this Fox was coming up trail towards me. I froze in my tracks and wondered how far he would come...then started taking pictures from pretty far away...he wandered toward me for short time and then wandered off trail and into bush...for me it was a beautiful encounter...

I don't know anything about foxes...do they attack people? But I think they are amazing looking creatures. I love the way it seems to be eyeballing you. I can't tell if it's scared, or smells dinner. Nice capture, Gerry.

wow Gerry! what a wonderful sight seeing a lone fox in the snow - the contrast between his red coat and the snow is beautiful!

ps I think they would usually run away from people Jim - I have chased urban foxed from my garden before now when they were eyeing up my pet rabbits for lunch! lol!

Excellent capture Gerry. They are beautiful. Years ago a whole den of them were raised on my dad's farm. They got fairly tame and one of them would eat out of dad's hand. Maybe I'll tell that story sometime.
