Cute little critter...took this Saturday morning. I am pretty sure these guys hibernate for Winter as I have not seen them all winter in Nature Preserve but have seen them in past week. I know they drive my dog Hanna, who is a Beagle breed, wild when I walk her through bush as she wants to chase them but is on lease.

We have very few of these left up here. The grey and red squirrels have all but eaten these guys out of house and home.

I think they migrate to the desert. They hitch a ride with the hummingbirds and geese. Just kidding. Great photo of the little guy and the way they dart around you did really good. Turn Hanna loose and let her have some fun. lol I was expecting a bear when I saw title. Another great one Gerry.
