In one area of Nature Preserve there is a small open field area which has this patch of Wild Lupine growing. It has been blooming this past week and turns the area into a sea of blue color.

I bet that is a beautiful site, especially if it is a large open area filled with these flowers. Very nice close up, Gerry.

Howard Duff never said anything about Ida Lupina being that wild. Love the wild native grasses Gerry. The settlers must have seen a virtual explosing of color when they travelled. Good post.

Such a grand sight to behold. The blues and greens are almost irresistible. Great shot, Gerry.
