This is a picture I took a month ago. I came across this Buttercup blooming with this fading Dandelon which had turned to seed. To me it shows the haphazard growth of natural world which has a beauty in it's own right. I do recall when I got home and looked at this picture in my computer I thought that if I had used a smaller aperture on camera I would have got more of dandelon seedheads in focus. I went back the next morning to do this but alas this was no more as it appeared an animal had gone through here and knocked it down...which is Nature's Fleeting beauty...

This image is beautiful as is, no need to have more seedheads in focus. What an eye for a shot, Gerry. This one is stunning!

Lovely job. I'm certainly glad you spotted it in the first place. It makes a lovely, natural desktop, Mr. P.

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

A really great one Gerry. Nature, like life, is fleeting. Love the post and the narrative. What a perfectionist you are. We all benefit from that trait.

Ohhhh this is just precious Gerry!!! Such gorgeous colours, but more than that, to be able to get the two together in this way, that's pretty special. It's as tho there is a new "breed" being brought together. I'm so glad you took that photo, I will love having it on my desktop...thanx so much. Verena
