Wonderful capture of this beauty of a bird. I just love the blurry green background which further enhances the main subject. Fav'd and thanks for sharing. Well done!

Again...I disagree with Gael. Super shot of the Oriole, Gerry.

IS THAT WHAT I THINK IT IS?

Gerry, what I like is the position of the bird on the branch, within the shot. Nicely composed. And.. as long as he was up there, didja ask him to shake a few berries loose for ya? ;-)

Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.

Pure perfection, I have never been able to get close to one of these, they don't come to my feeder. I am jealous, great capture.

A great one Gerry. They are such a beautiful bird and they seem to be more of them around then for several years.
Clarity topnotch.

Great shot Gerry, I'm so jealous of this picture. I usually get a few of these birds in the apple tree behind my house every may, but this year we got nothing but rain and strong winds. All the blossoms were ripped off and the Orioles didn't stick around long enough for me to get a picture. You did a terrific job with this picture though, the focus is really good.

The focus is right on the eye and he's as sharp and bright as can be. Love that background too, another one from the master!
