Solitary rock reflected in Lake Ypsilon, Rocky Mountain National Park. Was playing with black and white and got lucky. I appreciate your comments and suggestions. Thanks.

very nice composition indeed. the tonal contrast between the snow capped mountains and the sky looks a little odd with the mountains so dark and the sky so bright but other than that a great piece.

Hi, great pic! i love the reflections. it somehow looks like the rock was floating in the clouds!
the b/w does a good effect, it sets the focus more on the rock!

It's good but why would you want to do a black and white of such a cool picture? Is the color version good? If so upload that too....see which one wins.

Great picture! I would certainly frame and hang it in the appropriate location; perhaps in a room I would like to portray serenity.

Love the picture and the composition, though you might want to change the contrast slightly so that you have some more bright white in the photo, shud only take a second or two in photoshop by changing the levels or the brightness/contrast settings.. I like contrasty photos though so im a lil biased :)
