Cameras are like people--sometimes they lose focus.
A good close up on the crow, Roger. Nice details and clarity in the photo. Great colours and textures. I like the look in the crow's eye. I do hope she wiped her feet after this. It wouldn't do to have muddy claw prints all over your next photo.

I do like the pose and detailed feathers. Seems to be on high alert. I don't often see them this still!

You captured him well Roger. I can tell you from experience it is hard to get the proper lighting on such a black bird as a crow. The light is shining right to get some good feather details. I am always trying to get their eye in focus and that is hard.
