Good composition and lighting in this image. The Via, itself forms a diagonal which all our eyes delight in seeing, while the structure to the left frames the image and the trees to the right serve the double purpose of providing another diagonal and serving up a repeating pattern (this is a statement from the dapartment of redundancy department). Finally I like the shadows that fall across the raod. Very nice. To remember that the Etruscans who built this road did so some 2,500 years ago is a sobering perspective on one's own legacy. Will we contribute anything lasting like they did?

Heel mooie compositie.

I wonder what famous individuals have traveled down that road. Very nice picture!
