This is my life. It was once pure and unspoilt, until somebody with a heart of pure hatred scratched at it, left my life a mess. These are my scars.

A finely made fractal - interesting design and the colours blend well together. This has a lot of movement and tension showing - I like the white background for a change. I hope your life is better now and that *somebody* is long gone. Good job Gemma :)

Powerful narrative Gemma ... and you have captured the turmoil quite well. The white background adds to the starkness of the flame and it's message intent.
But ... but ... I see that there is still a union present here.
Nothing has been severed ... torn apart. Twisted, hurt ... yeah ... however, to me it looks like 'it' is trying to assemble itself back together ... and will.
That aside ... really good to see you experimenting with the program. Try using different colour gradients and the slider control that comes with. Great for changing the highlights on a flame.
Nice work.
p.s. It can get better ... here, one more cookie for the road. :o)
