Awww, that's nice, Gem. He does look a little sad... It's a lovely image though, the light is just right on him. Glad you noticed, sometimes the small things we pass every day are the stuff that make good pictures. My camera lets me see in new and different ways.

I see where you're going with this, and I like it. Tighten your DOF (depth of field) but also, go for a sharper focus where it matters. lastly, try (in case you already haven't) placing this cherub in different "positions" with in the frame (more to the left, right, top, etc)
This is really nice. I like the way you have framed just his face for us. I think by tightening your dof, Rob means to open up your aperture more so that the background becomes more blurred. Of course, you may have to shorten your shutter speed to get a little less light, but maybe not. Experimenting is the only way to find out. There are other ways to do it, but I am not experienced enough to tell you. lol
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
