Deary me. Every time I go on holiday somewhere hot the local cats seem to intrigue me more than sunsets or whatever else you would expect people to take pictures of. Oh well. It was rather a nice shot in passing, the cat didn't seem as curious as me... hence the title. Comments appreciated. xx

Nice shot. Personally, I'd probably have shown more cat and less planter, but that's just a cat lover talking....

I think you're right, Gem. The cat looks sort of nonchalant about it all... I like his little face, such a typical expression you caught.

Hey Gemma,
I got this in the VB and thought it was really interesting. The pale and blurred background really helps the cat pop out of the image and the detail and sharpness, especially around the eyes, enhances the pop further. Composition wise the cat is about a third of the image and somehow, for me, the close crop that emphasises the eyes and nose really works great. Much more interesting shot than simply "head of cat with big eyes" might have been.

The picture is ok, but the lighting and the blurness take away from this picture.
