I'm trying to create a *look* for my flower photographs & this is one version. Looking for feedback as to whether this works or not. Thanks for taking the time to look.

Thanks. Yeah, it's a style that works sometimes but can look twee at other times. The subject is crucial I think & it does seem to work very well with flowers. I must point out that this was a technique I first saw here and so this is not original to me. I've had feedback in other places that complains of the *reflection* not matching up properly. It's not a reflection. People are strange.

It looks good to me. Not over edited and the color is really good.
Lighting on the flowers is also appealing. Buds in the background add to the scene. Well done.

This is beautiful! The deep, rich colors are enticing. The swirled texture adds a wonderful element of quality artwork. And the close visual proximity to the blooms and budding plant lend a feeling of intimacy to the viewer.

The image attracts your attention and draws you in.

Excellent work!

It has a good depth somewhat like a subtle texture effect.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
