There's no really no need for a narrative folks, but let it be said I kept a good distance from the nesting site, & fed the Moorhen chicks with my own bread which was lobbed some distance. :o)

I'm not sure I want to read a narrative about this. Such violent birds they are, to tear apart that poor swan. Turn about is fair play, so they better watch out. LOL.
