On a rare day off the weathers been awful again. :o( Having run out of jpgs I went out, & took some night shots instead.

My neighbour Mannie3 / Richard gave me the idea. For more information on this ancient place of worship click here. But I'll be over here watching this video instead.

Thanks for the comment Gregg. :o)
After 800 years a building builds it's own charecter. I've got plenty more spooky shots left, perhaps a Halloween manip would be in place ! any volunteers please form a queue. ;o)

Hey, Flossie! What ho...spooky indeed. Great info and the music was good too, esp. since the election's coming up here, and I'm not in a particularly patriotic mood....did I say that out loud?

Ooooppss......I'll give it a shot and send it on to you for your approval.

Ta-ta for now!

It is quite a beautiful church, Phil. I don't find it spooky at all. I like the way your shot makes the exterior look warm and old too. I love the link you provided. The choir song was truly inspirational.

A wonderfully atmospheric image of this fantastic old church, Phil. Love the link to the Church's site mainly for the choir's performance of the Durufle' motet.

If Jack the Ripper ever prayed, he would have done it here. Excellent mood you set with this one. Good night capture Phlossie.

hello. another good shot for your gallery. This place has SO many angles and light effects, it's hard to know where to start. I like in inclusion of the strong blue sky and the windows lit up from the inside. Breaks up the dull (colour, not boring) tones. Probably get a completely different shot every day of the year. I took one of this church one winter morning, about 8am, as the sun was rising over the snowy Bristol landscape. I'll try to find it again.
